The Department of Biology, at Utah State University, in Logan, Utah, offers a fully funded M.S. Graduate Assistantship.
The fully funded assistantship is an opportunity for would-be international students to study in the USA, and includes tuition fees as well as living assistance.
Student will monitor squash bug (Anasa tristis) populations to increase understanding of squash bug biology in Utah. The candidate will also assess a series of pest management tactics and/or survey for natural enemies.
The candidate will be involved in planning and organizing field studies, in extension education programmes, in research and peer reviewed publications as well as in presenting scientific results in regional and national meetings.

Qualified Requirements of the Utah State University Scholarship
To be eligible for the Utah State University Scholarship you must:
- BS in entomology, biology, agronomy or related
- Experience with the field/greenhouse is desirable
- Experience of working with invertebrates
- Experience or interest in working with growers and extension programs
- Highly developed written and oral communication skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Field work will 2-4 hours from main campus. Therefore, a driving comfort for long distances is necessary.
