Value of the scholarship/the inclusions/duration:
The scholarship will take the tuition cost for the duration of the programme of study.
Eligibility:
The scholarships will be granted to those of the applicants who are offered a place on one of the above-listed eligible Human Medical programmes of study in the 2025-2026 academic year.
Applicants must have already been successful applicants to the University of Edinburgh and must have either firmly accepted the offer of a place at the University or be about to do so.
It is hoped that the successful candidates on completion of their education, will work in countries that can use the benefits of their furthered medical education in the best possible way.
You must either have, or be in the process of obtaining, an overseas degree that is a one-year postgraduate training qualification, a Masters degree or a PhD or the overseas equivalent of a UK first-class honours degree. The scholarship will be granted on the merit of academic performance and the quality of a personal statement (the official site contains the questions guide).
