Summary
The Team Lead will be linked with operations to enable them to assists in supporting the production needs in an area related to production control and planning of machines that he/ she is in charge. Responsibilities will include the functions involved in ensuring a smooth production flow compared to the raw materials, work in process material and through to the finished goods transfer of material.

Safety:
Promote Southwire 0 culture by exhibiting a Safe and Quality conscious attitude to work customary
The right tools use appropriately and is biased to action.
Make a safety touch point and connect with operators.
Human Capital:
Plans and supervises the training activities of new employees and can compliment training and report 30/60/90-day progress to Supervisor.
Give practical support in trouble shooting and getting rid of process problems.
Offer practical support to aid in day to day activities.
Offer practical guidance in cost cutting- other places like: dimension control, manufacturing processes, etc.
DHP:
Be an active participant in the DHP process and should be able to hold cell level huddles as required.
Coordination with support staff to achieve resolution of issues as required.
Be able to calculate production rates by the hour.
Any other activities as guided by the Plant Leadership
Qualification and Experiences Requirement
- Demonstrates strong judgment and analyst problem-solving capacity.
- Able to train and manipulate other people in non-threatening manner.
- Acquaints minimum level of communication skills (verbal and written) and knows when escalation is required.
- A good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is desirable.
- Should have the ability to multitask and have strong organizational skills.
- Successfully work in teams.
