Scholarships to master programmes The Swedish Institute Scholarships for Global Professionals (SISGP), a new scholarship programme replacing the Swedish Institute Study Scholarships (SISS), will be provided to many master programmes in Autumn 2025 at Swedish Universities.
The SI Scholarship programme Global Professional preparing global professionals of tomorrow who will become leaders of the United Nations 2030 Agenda of Sustainable Development and bring positive and sustainable development to their own homes and region of origin.

Approximately 700 master degree programmes taught in English can receive the SI scholarship for Global Professionals and include programmes within the disciplines of humanities, agricultural science, medicine and public health, natural science, social science and technology. The list will be here.

Contribution of the scholarship/inclusions/duration:
The scholarship is a grant six months tuition fee, SEK 12,000/ month living allowance, insurance and once-time travel allowance of SEK 10,000-15,000 (only scholarship holders living outside of Sweden).
The scholarship is to be used to study on a one-year, two-year full-time master programme and can only be given towards programmes beginning in autumn semester.
No more grant to the family members. Nor does it pay application fee to University Admissions.
Eligibility:
In order to qualify SISGP:
• You are required to be the citizen of a country that avails SI scholarships (see above). Nevertheless, it is not necessary to live in the country at the moment of an application.
• The master degree programmes you are applying to should qualify to SI scholarships. More than 750+ English-taught master programmes are qualifying (see link above).
• You should have proven experience in work (exceptions to this requirement apply to some areas). Furthermore, you should have proved your leadership experience in your employer or civil society or through previous employer.
You must be in a position to pay tuition fee to Swedish universities, you must have followed the University Admissions Process, must have paid the fee of the application in good time, must have been admitted in one of the eligible masters degree programmes on the day of the publication of the results of the admissions.
Other terms further dictate the possibility of dual citizenship, previous residence and studies in Sweden and so on. Check in full details on eligiblity criteria of the official site.

First, 15 January 2025, apply to one of the master822 pointed programmes at universityadmissions.se. After submitting your application to the master´s programme(s) at universityadmissions.se, you will receive an individual application number, which is comprised of eight digits. Stored this as you can use it when you apply to the SI Scholarship for Global Professionals.
Once you have been admitted to a masters programme, you may now access a SI scholarship. All the documents required should be posted online through the web application portal between 10 February-26 February 2025.
