On Tuesday, Rival Lufthansa (LHAG.DE) announced that it had agreed to install Starlink on its planes and Scandinavian airline SAS last year selected the provider, claiming that the aerodynamic drag of the solution was less than competitors.

“You must install the fuselage with an antenna it attracts a 2 percent fuel charge due to weight and drag, Ryanair CEO Michael O’Leary, told Reuters. “We do not believe that our passengers are ready to spend money on WiFi during an average 1-hour flight.”
