The Texas Match the Promise Foundation helps families save to pay the tuition through matching scholarships and tuition grants to eligible Texas Tuition Promise Fund contributors.
To be clear, Tuition units are a set rate of undergraduate resident tuition and schoolwide required fees at any of the eligible Texas public colleges or universities. A Promise Fund tuition unit awarded by matching the Promise will go to the approved recipient, to be added to the contribution of the participant to the fund during the current Promise Fund sales period.

QuestBridge is connected to 40 top colleges and universities in the United States through which they offer the National College Match scholarship. The scholarship fully funds each college with no contribution by the parent and no addition of student loans- tuition, room, and board, travel, books, and supplies. Note however that the scholarship could be inclusive of student contributions such as work study or student savings.

There are two levels of Scholarships

Matching Scholarship
Participant tuition unit purchases up to $500 will be matched-pro rata-with the same type of tuition units. The two-towards-one match will be provided to the scholarship recipients with family income of 75, 000 and below. The rest of scholarship recipients will be given a one-to-one match.
Promise Scholarship
A single tuition units grant of 2,000 dollars in the present day currency will be granted. Up to 150 of the best-performing applicants would be approved Matching Scholarships. The top five scoring applicants will be given Promise Scholarships
