Qatar Airways University Scholarship Details
The Qatar Airways University Scholarship Programme aims to support financially and academically to Qatari nationality (as well as children of Qatari mothers) as newly graduated school leavers, to pursue their university studies (Bachelors degrees studies), both within and outside Qatar.
Upon completing the education, the student will gain placement at the Qatar Airways under the Graduate Development Programme.
Eligible Requirements in 2026 Qatar Airways Scholarship
To apply to get the Qatar Airways Scholarship 2026, you should:
- To be a Qatari National (or the mother of the Student is a Qatari National).
Of good behaviour and reputation. - Be medically fit and also pass the medical examinationinations prescribed.
- He/she must be above 17 yrs and below 24 years at the time of application.
- He/she must have completed High (Secondary) School within the last three (3) years.
- Note: Qatari-Mother Students: they should have passed all their levels of study in the state of Qatar.
- The overall score of the High (Secondary) School shall be not lower than:
- In the case of Qatari-National Students: 85 %.
- To Qatari-Mother Students: 90 per cent.
- Students with High (Secondary) School Certificates which have not been issued by the Qatar Ministry of Education must have an Equivalency Statement issued by the Qatar Ministry of Education showing the percentage of the total marks.
- The last 24 months recorded overall IELTS band score as, as follows:
- To Qatar-National Students: 5.5 (no less than 5.0 in each component).
- Those who are Qatari-Mother Students: 6.0 (it is not less than 5.0 in each of the components).
- The major or minor field of study at the university must be included in the list of the accepted majors in Qatar Airways.
- The preferred university is one that is accredited by the Qatar Ministry of Education and it is in an acceptable country to Qatar Airways.
- In case the university is not located in the State of Qatar, a letter of Pre-approval Letter from the Qatar Ministry of Education allowing the study abroad in the specified university and a study major should also be submitted.
- Provide final up to date unconditional letter of acceptance into a university with full accreditation by the Qatar Ministry of Education

- A (coloured) copy of Guarantor valid passport.
- Copy (coloured) of valid Qatar ID card of Guarantor (both sides).
Educational and other Documents:
- Copy of the High School Certificate (or the Equivalency Certificate issued by the Qatar Ministry of Education) indicating the date in which the High School was completed (not more than 3 years ago) and results of the subjects.
- Copy of IELTS certificate within 24 months of the study of the student.
- Copy of recent unconditional letter by the accredited university in the unconditional field of study.
- Where the university is not within the State of Qatar, a copy of the Pre-approval Letter provided by the Qatar Ministry of Education in allowing the Student to study abroad in the named university and in the study major.
- The deferment certificate the Certificate of completion, of exemptions of the Qatar National Service, Please provide a copy.
- The letter of the Qatar Ministry of Education under letter head To Whom it may concern that the Student is not under scholarship by the ministry of education.
- Letter To Whom It May Concern issued by Qatar Ministry of labour, proving that the Student is not currently employed.
Additional Documents in Qatari-Mother Case: In Qatari-Mother situation, all of the following additional documents should be submitted as well
- Copy of work permit valid ID Card (both sides).
- Copy of birth certificate of the Student issued by the Qatar Ministry of Health.
- All the educational stages attended in Qatari schools To Whom It May Concern Certificate (Qatar Ministry of Education).
