Freshman admissions to Michigan State University Scholarship are determined by:
- High school performance in school
- Suitability and quality of curriculum
- Recent trends in the academic performance
- Class rank
- Standardized test results
- English as a second language: English language proficiency for non-U.S. citizens or permanent residents that have a primary language that is not English.
