Applications are open for the Nairobi Summer School 2025 in Ethiopia that is a fully funded International Summer school hosted by the Nairobi Summer School on Climate Justice (NSSCJ). The summer school will take place in Addis Ababa University in Ethiopia (August 17 to August 30th, 2025). The program lasts for 14 days (2 weeks), and aims to bring together passionate young leaders from Africa, Asia, Europe, Oceania and the Americas, and who will make a meaningful contribution to climate justice in their communities. There are no application fees and IELTS is not compulsory to being accepted. This project has the kindness of Pan-African Climate Justice Alliance (PACJA). Theme of the Summer School
Theme: Transforming the Polycrisis Era towards a Liveable Future: Youth-Led Transformation.
The purpose of the Summer School is to inspire the new generation in Africa to deal with the most relevant issue of climate justice, with special focus of the issue of environmental and social justice in their communities.

Requirements to Apply for Nairobi summer school 2025
The Summer School is not limited to Nationality.
Have an O-level certificate or an equivalent level high school matriculation.
Be aged between 18 to 35 years of age at date of application
Be fluent in one of the following languages: English; French or Portuguese.
Have a valid passport (valid for applicants who are not Ethiopian).
