Description:Riverside Walter Reed Hospital has a 30-bed hospital inpatient unit and is seeking a Hospitalist (Nocturnist) to join our team. The preferred candidate will share our philosophy of serving those as we would serve those we love. You will be eager to contribute to our communities by once again investing in new facilities and technology to help underserved areas as well as giving a patient needing a little bit of extra attention and caring.
Role Responsibilities:
- Be a specialist in the internal medicine field and certified in hospital medicine.
- You can only confine this practice to a hospital setting with medical challenges pertinent to your line of medical practice.
- Be in charge of in-hospital care of our patients, accessing health records and health diagnosis of the patient primary care physician.
- Play the role of the single provider throughout the stay of the patient in the hospital organizing care.

Education/Qualification:
- D or D or or Equivalent Foreign Diploma
Training:
- An ACGME accredited program in Internal Medicine Residency program
- Canadian residency in Family medicine with a minimum of 3 years Hospitalist experience
- Family Medicine Residency with Hospital Medicine Fellowship
Certification(s):
- Eligible to/Current VA Medical License
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 3 years of completing residency) by ABIM/ABFM
- DEA
