Shania Muhammad, 16 is the youngest full-time teacher in America.
The ascent to success started early in the life of Shania as she completed two associate degrees at the age of 14 at Langston University and Oklahoma City Community College in Oklahoma, United States.
At a very tender age, Shania acquired a teaching job at Young Achievers Christian Academy and she is now a third grade teacher at Young Achievers Christian Academy. She became the first full time and salaried teacher in America of her age.
Though her accomplishment is much more above her age Shania has demonstrated she is more than capable of it. She has a bachelor degree in Early Child Development, and has two associate degrees offered by Oklahoma City Community College and Langston University.
Shania also has gone through two years of the National Teachers Professional Development Training through the Thurgood Marshal Foundation following her bachelor degree.
With a notable resume and professional accomplishment, she also has the true desire and passion to teach and be in the classroom which she is doing currently.
Having won such bravery and having the daring in following her cause and faith, Shania had gone against the views of society and had followed her dreams and passions and made them happen despite those who would disregard her, yet her father, Elijah Muhammad was very proud of her and his own words said it all.
I am so proud of my daughter to be brave and bold to take a step out on her faith and into her purpose. She does not accept what people may think of her to determine the reality of her visions and ambitions, Elijah Muhammad said.
The Director of Young Achievers Christian Academy, Charitta Smith who also doubles as her mentor said that being able to tutor Shania is an honor and a privilege and she helps and guides her on her teaching journey.
However, it is notable that since Shania joined the school, her performance has been exceptional as she handles students with a lot of skill.
Being the mentor of this young lady is a privilege and an honor to assist and guide her during her teaching career. And we are a few days away until week one and to be quite honest she is doing a tremendous job with her third graders.
Shania is pursuing her master of business and is on course to complete with a grade point average of 4.00.
