AAUW International Fellowships in USA for Women
AAUW (the American Association of University Women) awards International Fellowships to women who are not United States citizens or permanent residents to study full time or conduct research in the United States. Postgraduate and graduate degrees in accredited institutions are both supported.

Master/first professional degree fellowships are allotted to master/professional degree programs (J.D., M.F.A., L.L.M., M.Arch., or medical degrees, such as M.D., D.D.S., etc.), but cannot be awarded to certificate programs, associate degrees or undergraduate degrees.
The doctoral fellowships are supposed to be the type of degrees that are research including doctorate degrees in the forms of Ph.D. or Ed.D.

PhD Fellowship: 25,000
Stipends are allowed to fellows only and are to be paid semi-annually at the start and mid-time of the fellowship term.

Applicants should be or self-identify as a woman.
The candidates should be in their first admission or enrollment in a master or an academic or professional doctorate degree program. The example types of masters programs include but are not restricted to M.A., M.S., M.B.A., M.F.A., L.L.M or M.Arch. Examples of academic and professional Doctorate degrees include but are not limited to D. B. A, Ed. D, J. D, M.D or Ph. D.
The applicants are required that they start their program on or before 1 September 2026 and end on or after 30 April 2027.
Candidates are required to have at least one academic degree (either accepted in the U.S. or abroad) meeting U.S. standards equivalent of the level of baccalaureate. Applicants must have completed a master\ Hold a minimum cumulative GPA requirement of 3.5 in a 4.0 scale in the highest degree obtained. The applicants are allowed to apply to only one of the degree type (Master or Doctoral program) and to one field (Business, History, Physics, etc.). In the instance of applicants seeking a dual degree, he/she must choose one of the fields.
The applicants will be required to be pursuing their studies towards a fulltime basis in an institution that is accredited by U.S. Department of Education.
Applicants are to residence in U.S. or country of their research during the fellowship period.
Applicants wishing to study in any country other than their homeland or the United States must be members of Graduate Women International and must study at aningenuine international institution listed on the Federal Student Aid Participating Schools list.(Foreign branches of U.S. institutions are not considered as being in the U.S.)
