Applicants are welcome to select up to 2 position(s) of interest and will be shortlisted and selected to these positions, based on demonstrated skills and experience:

• Onboarding & People Management intern
• Internship in Leadership Development
• Capability Development internship position
• Career Development Intern
• Communication Intern

Internship Requirements:

To be eligible for the UNDP Global Internship, you can either meet the following educational requirements:

• Be studying a graduate school program (second university degree or equivalent or higher), or
• hold a final year of a first level university degree programme (undergraduate; minimum baccalaureate level or equivalent); or
• have completed university studies (first university degree, or second university degree or equivalent, or higher) and if selected must commence internship within one year of obtaining degree
• Experience/Interest in one of the workstream areas preferred.

Term of Internship and UNDP Reward

• Duration of the internship is expected to be 6 months (2nd February to 31 July 2026).
• UNDP interns are entitled to receive a stipend on a monthly basis the amount of which depends on the duty station. For Copenhagen, this is an allowance of equivalent of $1000 per month.
• The stipend will be provided monthly and part-time internship agreements will be pro-rated.

Requirements for UNDP Internship

Required Competencies

• Outstanding communication skills;
• Outstanding administrative abilities;
• Collaborates with co-workers to meet organizational goals;
• Special problem solving skills.

Desired Skills

• Good IT skills and excellent knowledge of office software packages (MS Office suite – PPT, Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, Streams, Forms, SharePoint, Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps).
• Language requirements: Fluency in English language is required. Knowledge of French and/or Spanish language an Asset.
• Advantage: Experience with software design (i.e. Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Illustrator, InDesign).
