Rotary Club Foundation Global Scholarship Grants- Development
The Rotary Foundation has provided funding of scholarships program formulated under the Rotary Foundation Global Grants. The scholarships fees the course work or research of a graduate in an amount of one to four academic years.
Host Institution(s):
Any University approved that is found in a country with a host Rotary and/or district membership country, beyond the home country of the applicant
Field(s) of Study/ Level of Study:
Graduate-level coursework or study at a Rotary club-sponsored research center in one of Rotary club and organization areas of focus: Peace and conflict prevention/resolution, Disease prevention and treatment, Water and sanitation, Maternal and child health, Basic education and literacy, and Economic and community development.
Target group:
Rotary District- or Club-sponsored Non-Rotarians
Value/inclusions of scholarship:
Global grants: The minimum budget on a global grant scholarship will start at 30,000 dollars and it can be used on the following items: Passport/visa, Inoculations, Travel expenses (as outlined in the grant terms and conditions), School supplies, Tuition, Room and board, Household supplies, Language training courses (but not when university admission is made on the basis of improvement of language skills).
The scholarship money does not pay most of the personal and miscellaneous financial needs.

Application instructions:
Interested candidates may communicate to their local rotary clubs through the Rotary Club Locator and they may ask questions about how they can be sponsored to get the grant.
The filling of global grants is done online. The following application is released by the sponsor club or districts and the scholar candidate fills the scholar profile online.
Global grant scholarships are accepted on a rolling basis during the year but the application itself must be submitted no later than 3 months in advance of the planned departure date to provide sufficient time in processing and review of the application within the Foundation. Every Rotary Club/District can set their own time frame.
