American girl has achieved great success: A 15-year-old African-American girl has received the highest honors at graduation from Eastside High School in the United States.

Her success is even more impressive as she is already accepted into a university and is on her way to obtaining her doctoral degree before the age of 21.

Zyla’s Story and How She Did It

Zyla’s genius started emerging at a very young age. Her IQ was over 124 and, at four years old, she was considered to be an academic prodigy. Children were still learning their multiplication tables and Zyla was solving high school equations with ease.

When she was 9 years old she went to middle school and was instantly the youngest student taking college and high school level classes. She had already received her first college transcript by the time she was 11.

Zyla started at Eastside High School at the age of 12, having already fulfilled most of her requirements to graduate, but the young student was staying in school.

However, she had valued her social development and wanted to remain at high school and enjoy the experience such as, sports games, friendships, extracurriculars, and academics. But in her junior year she was already thinking of the next journey of academic pursuit.

During her last year of high school, Zyla applied to several colleges near home and was accepted by all of them. Of all of her acceptances, she selected Kennesaw State University, in which she will major in Software Engineering.

Zyla’s goal does not end with an undergraduate degree. She is determined to finish her PhD at the age of 21.

Her family and teachers describe her as well-grounded, focused, and optimistic in her approach to work. In addition to academics, she enjoys reading, doing mixed media art and watching anime.
